1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs all use of the WebOrigin platform, including the dashboard, APIs, WhatsApp integration, bulk messaging features, and AI agents. It supplements our Terms of Service.
2. Permitted Uses
✓Business communication with end users, contacts, and enquiries
✓General enquiry handling and customer support
✓Service and schedule notifications to opted-in contacts
✓Relevant educational and service update communications
✓AI-assisted responses to student/customer queries
✓Lead capture from inbound WhatsApp conversations
✓Bulk messaging to opted-in contacts using approved Meta templates
3. Absolutely Prohibited Uses
The following violations will result in immediate account termination without refund.
✗Sending unsolicited bulk messages (spam) to any recipient
✗Sending messages to contacts who have explicitly opted out
✗Uploading malware, illegal content, or copyright-infringing material to the Knowledge Base
✗Using the platform to harass, threaten, or abuse individuals
✗Sending MARKETING messages without documented opt-in from recipients
✗Bypassing Meta's message template requirements
✗Using WebOrigin for industries explicitly prohibited (e.g., gambling, adult content, weapons)
✗Sharing account credentials to allow unauthorised third-party access
✗Using the platform to impersonate another business or individual
4. Restricted Uses (Require Prior Approval)
The following uses require written approval from WebOrigin before proceeding:
- Sending to audiences of 10,000+ per campaign
- Running political campaign communications
- Financial advisory messaging (RBI regulated content)
- Medical advice messaging (CDSCO regulated content)
- Multi-level marketing or pyramid scheme promotions

5. Consequences of Violations
- Warning + mandatory compliance review — for minor first violations
- Temporary suspension of bulk messaging features — while compliance review is underway
- Permanent account termination without refund — for serious or repeated violations
- Reporting to Meta — if WhatsApp policy violations are detected
6. Reporting Violations
If you believe another WebOrigin user is violating this policy, report it immediately to contact.weborigin@gmail.com. Include a description of the violation, any evidence, and the offending organization's identifier if known.
